1. Scope
This notice covers personal information handled by Buhotec Retail Stores LLC ("we") in connection with the Buhotec Tamiami store and the retail pages of buhotec.com (the shop, the Tamiami page and related forms). The wholesale side of buhotec.com has its own privacy policy.
2. What we collect
- Grand-opening list — name, email and (optionally) phone, only when you sign up, with your consent. Used solely to send store opening news, launch offers and updates. Unsubscribe anytime.
- Product ideas — the preferences you share in the "help us build your store" form; name and email are optional.
- Purchases — when you buy from us, our point-of-sale provider (Clover, a Fiserv company) processes your payment. We never see or store your full card number. We keep transaction records (items, amounts, serial numbers of serialized products) to provide receipts, returns and warranty support.
- Shopping cart — your online cart is stored only on your own device (browser storage); it never leaves your browser until you check out.
- Site analytics — we count page views and button clicks with our own first-party system. We use no third-party advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.
- Job applications — if you apply to work with us, the information and resume you submit.
3. How we use and share it
We use personal information to operate the store, fulfill and support purchases, run the opening list you joined, improve what we carry, and meet legal obligations. We share it only with service providers that help us do those things — payment processing (Clover/Fiserv), our database and email infrastructure — under contracts that restrict their use of it, or when the law requires. Marketplace purchases are shared with the seller of record only as needed to fulfill your order.
4. Retention & your choices
Transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Marketing lists are kept until you unsubscribe. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at [email protected]; we will honor requests as applicable law provides. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
